Banco Bpm and Nexta Renewable Gas Srl (Genera Group), closed a €6.6 million operation for the construction and modernization of a biomethane plant in Caivano. The financing, lasting 102 months, supports the Italian company of the Genera Group in the modernization of a biogas plant and in the construction of an upgrading plant for the production of biomethane in Caivano in the province of Naples.

Banco Bpm finances the plant in Caivano

The financing granted by Banco BPM, lasting 102 months, is aimed at supporting the company in the modernization of an existing plant for the production of biogas and in the construction of an upgrading plant for the production of biomethane through the treatment and anaerobic digestion of sludge and liquids deriving from the production waste of the Caivano plant, in the province of Naples, of a well-known multinational.

Biomethane and innovation, the role of Nexta Renewable Gas

Nexta Renewable Gas is an Italian company belonging to Genera Group, specialized in the design, construction and management of plants for the production of Biomethane, a 100% renewable gas that can be used as an alternative to fossil fuels. The technology used by Nexta Renewable Gas, which involves the transformation of organic waste, allows the pursuit of decarbonization objectives as biomethane is 100% renewable and involves a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions.
